Went in the middle of a workday and thankful got seated! The restaurant soon filled up, lucky to be seated, albeit small tables for couples. Amazing service! Food was also very tasty. Only con is the small selection of food to choose from.

One of my top 3 favorite burgers in San Francisco. I love how all the flavors of the burger and juiciness of the burger go together. The deviled eggs are delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. Drinks are great and the bar staff is always nice. I've been here about 5 separate times. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance to it. Somewhat classy and fun. They have a lunch menu and begin their dinner menu at 5. I always come for their burger though!

Marlowe has been on my list for a long time and we casually walked by after spending some time at thriller social club around the corner. We were a group of 6 on Saturday night and we got seated right away since they weren't too busy! But had heard really good things about the burger here so had to check it out. Best thing is that you can order the burger for the table cut in 4ths so every one can try it, so we got two of those. The burger lived up to its hype! We also got the fries, half dozen oysters, brussel sprouts, crudo, bone marrow and ahi tuna. Everything was good! For drinks we all got espresso martinis and a few other cocktails, all really good. I want to come back during weekday lunch service to try the fried chicken sandwich that ive also heard good things about!

I tried this restaurant on a Wednesday night. We made an early dinner reservation and got in before it became full. The restaurant itself is small and cozy but has a nice ambiance. The service was outstanding, the moment we were done with a plate someone took it away from us. We tried the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, little gem salad, burger, and banana bread budding. To drink, I had the Juicer and it was incredible. I'd love to have that drink everywhere I go. One of my favorite food items was the fried green tomatoes, they had such a nice flavor. The dipping sauce had the perfect amount of heat to it. The banana bread pudding was outstanding and would come back solely for that.

Food: Amazing eats. The menu changes so there's always something new to try. Only downside was the bartender for some reason poured my Diet Coke (from a can) so hard that it came to me almost flat. Service: Great service. Attentive but not hovering. They cleared plates as we finished them. Ambiance: Crisp but with some pizzaz. Not a shorts and flip flops kind of place. Dog: Hard no. Even if you could bring your dog, the tables are tight and your dog would be uncomfortable.

In 2024 the cheeseburger turned 100 years old . There are many places to grab a cheeseburger in San Francisco. There are now limited fast food places in San Francisco but the good news is there are lots of places that offers the cheeseburger and in most cases the cheeseburger is the litmus test and sets the tone for the rest of the menu for a restaurant. One place I enjoy going to for a cheeseburger in San Francisco is Marlowe. The menu has many different items throughout the day and evening but I was here midday and what's best in the menu for me was the cheeseburger. I had the Marlowe Burger which had some savory caramelized onions and horseradish aïoli with bacon which was not too crunchy and tasty with a good beef burger patty. The cheeseburger was delicious paired with a red wine along with good crispy Marlowe fries which had sea salt and herbs. Overall a good atmosphere to grab a cheeseburger and a drink in San Francisco. Get the Marlowe burger in San Francisco with cheese and smell the cheeseburger aroma On the corner of 4th street and Brannan at Marlowe in SOMA

Food is pretty tasty here. I'm not so fond of the tiny tables and chairs and crunched set up that they have. The interior decor is very cute and fashionable. I usually get the burger here but branched out and tried the bbq sandwich which was great. The service was pretty good, our server checked often and kept us happy & all the food came out smoothly! Would come back.
